I am 25 years old, and graduated from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR with two degrees in Music: Piano Performance and Horn Pedagogy. I can't seem to find a good gig playin' job. Wish me luck! I married my lovely husband in July of 2005, and things have been going great. He just finished graduate school, so unfortunately he isn't around a lot now - but I'm not truly complaining because it gives me a lot of alone time with Fanfiction. Which I am obsessed with. I am a Professional Photographer and have just opened my own studio in Azle, TX! I love Harry Potter. Everything that is Harry Potter. I am seriously addicted. My husband laughs at me - but I just throw back at him his obsession with Star Wars. We visit a lot of conventions on his behalf, and I am sad to say that Harry Potter isn't in many, if any. I would LOVE to get autographs from the cast one day. My favorite book is 5 and 6 thus far, and can't wait to see them on film. My current goal is to encourage as many people to become fans and to start reading fanfiction, because not enough people know about it. I have just recently started writing fanfiction and my first story is under beta-ing at the moment...so we'll see where that goes! I have been reading for about 8 years now, and am so excited for the opportunity to start meeting others that like the same things I do.

Likes: Harry Potter, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Farscape, Firefly, Scrubs, Pretty much anything by Zach Braff - Garden State Rocked. Soundtrack was awesome too. I am constantly looking to find new songs to make my own CDs. I love music. I grew up with Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Rogers & Hammerstein so I love all of that. I have The Phantom of the Opera, The King and I, and the Sound of Music completely memorized. Don't laugh. I love it. I have a thing for art. I didn't major in art, but I love to paint and I love photographs. I like being positive about things. I love Red Velvet Cake and Gingersnaps - could eat them all day long. I have a strong infatuation with Strongbow and my latest favorite bands of all time are "The Fratellis" and "I don't love you anymore" by "My Chemical Romance".

Dislikes: People who critize others just to be mean, people who judge others, extremely political or religious arguments. I am a Christian - my best friend is an Atheist. We are like sisters - I love her completely. We just have an agreement not to go there. I prefer that, and so does she. Now, if someone were truly interested in hearing what I have to say - I of course would be willing to talk about it, but I hate it when people ask you "why are you a Christian" only to use your reasons to support their own against you to your face, leaving you hurt and vulnerable. I HATE that. I don't go out of my way to insult 'anyone' and I hope that people show me the same kind of decency. I have my beliefs, I love my life - leave it be! I don't do well with confrontation, though if someone hurts someone I love, I am the first to confront. I know, I know...Crazy lady... Hmm...I hate groupy teenagers in theatres who laugh and giggle throughout my Harry Potter movies (I think they go to a 'special hell'). The "people who talk in theatres" hell. :) I'm not a huge fan of the Michael Gambdon Dumbledore.
